In the first two weeks after the Christmas break, the 8th-graders of the Gymnasium Hochrad researched and presented different children’s rights and their historic background, daring a sweeping view across the globe and across different cultures, from Hollywood child actors to refugee children in the Middle East.
This was part of their “International Perspectives” education, a combination of the subjects History and Social Sciences, in which students and teachers of our school use their knowledge to analyse past and present socio-political phenomena around the world in several projects over years 8 and 9.
